Scholarships Available for 2016 IFLA Congress in Columbus, Ohio

ATLA is part of a group of over 90 library-related organizations coordinated by the IFLA 2016 National Committee that have committed scholarship funds for librarians to attend the 2016 IFLA Congress in Columbus, Ohio. The application deadline is December 31, 2015.

Two categories of grants are available. The first category will provide up to 100 – $1,000 scholarships to North American librarians. A portion of these scholarships are funded by an IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Library Program grant awarded to the American Library Association (ALA).  The application form for North American scholarships is available at:  http://www.ala.org/cfapps/ifla_cfpa/index.cfm?lang=en&location=US

ATLA Awards Diversity Scholarship to Kathryn Flynn

The ATLA Diversity Committee is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2015 ATLA Diversity Scholarship, Kathryn Flynn.

Kathryn is working toward her Masters of Library Science at UNC School of Information and Library Science in Chapel Hill, NC.
