Christine Fruin Elected to Library Publishing Coalition Board

Christine Fruin, ATLA’s Scholarly Communication and Digital Projects Manager, has been elected to the Board of the Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2019. Christine has been involved with LPC since its founding in 2013 and currently serves on the LPC Directory Task Force. She will also be speaking as part of three separate panel presentations at the upcoming Library Publishing Forum in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

ATLA joined the Library Publishing Coalition in 2018. LPC extends the impact and sustainability of library publishing and open scholarship by providing a professional forum for developing best practices and shared expertise. LPC members comprise a robust network of libraries committed to enhancing, promoting, and exploring the growing field of library publishing. Membership is open to academic and research libraries and library consortia that have or are considering library publishing programs.
