ATLA’s fall webinar series will begin on Thursday, September 27 at 2:00 PM CT with Member Programs and Scholarly Communication Manager Christine Fruin leading a session on Open Access: Myths, Facts, and Acts. With Open Access Week coming in October, learn more about the myths surrounding open access. Think open access equals low quality, that it is expensive for authors, or that it requires publishing in an open access journal? These are just some of the myths that will be dispelled in this presentation, where participants will learn the facts about open access and actions that they and their faculty and students can take to maximize the reach and impact of scholarship. Please note, this session was offered at the 2018 ATLA Annual Conference and content may be repeated.
