ATLA Partners with Lockwood Press and Licenses Two Full-Text Journals

ATLA is excited to announce a multi-title agreement with Atlanta-based Lockwood Press.

Run by founder and director Billie Jean Collins, Lockwood Press publishes “works of intellectual distinction that further scholarly investigation, advance interdisciplinary inquiry, stimulate public debate, educate both within and outside the classroom, and enhance cultural life,” according to their website. The press has a foundation in archaeological studies but has expanded to cover many adjacent fields, most notably religions, histories, and cultures of the Near Eastern and Mediterranean worlds. In addition to discipline-leading journals, Lockwood publishes monographs, reference works, higher education classroom materials, and academic trade titles.

In this initial phase, ATLA has made available two full-text venerable journals covering Egyptian and Coptic Studies in ATLAS PLUS™ (ATLAS PLUS™).
