We have completed the successful completion of the integration of the ATLA Catholic Periodical and Literature Index® (ATLA CPLI®) into the ATLA Religion Database® (ATLA RDB®).
Once a stand-alone product specific to Catholicism, ATLA CPLI content now enhances all versions of ATLA RDB with the inclusion of more than 500,000 additional records. As previously announced to customers in November 2017, ATLA and EBSCO have been working together to help libraries successfully transition to the enhanced version of ATLA RDB.
“I’m happy to see this integration completed,” commented Maria Stanton, ATLA’s Director of Production. “The unified index has been warmly received, with many librarians welcoming the news that their scholars can now search in one collection to find relevant material across many religions and faith traditions.”
In addition, ATLA continues to add full-text content to ATLASerials PLUS™ (ATLAS PLUS™), an expanded offering of full-text journals in many diverse areas of religion and theology. Since the product launch five months ago, ATLA has added nineteen additional full-text titles, growing the collection to include 444 titles. ATLAS PLUS now offers content in sixteen languages from thirty-three countries.
